The CFX5 range is Dometic's flagship line of electric compressor coolboxes – and across the four single-zone sizes (25L, 35L, 45L and 55L), the formula is consistent: serious insulation, a powerful variable-speed compressor, and smart connectivity that makes it feel less like camping gear and more like a proper fridge that happens to fit in your car. Vacuum insulated panels are far more effective than conventional foam, working in combination with the variable speed compressor to maintain consistent temperatures with minimal energy draw. The 55L – the largest of the single-zone variants – holds 85 standard cans, features an anti-condensation coil, and is an Energy Class B performer. All models run on 12V/24V DC or 100–240V AC, making them equally at home connected to a leisure battery or a campsite hook-up. They’re also compatible with an optional portable power bank for fully off-grid use. Throughout the range you get the same weather-resistant colour display with soft-touch controls, an 18W QC 3.0 USB port, TPE lid gasket, interior LED lighting, folding alloy handles, removable wire basket, drain plug, and integrated bottle opener. The Dometic Mobile Cooling app connects via Bluetooth for remote temperature monitoring and adjustment – useful when the coolbox is in the boot and you're lying on a lounger.
