The Nebula Driftshade is part of Osprey's limited-edition Driftshade capsule – available for 2026 only, and built for those who'd rather their everyday pack looked more boutique than basic. It’s built from 100% recycled polyester heather fabric with coordinated trims, and the whole thing is inspired by the play of light and shadow in nature – which in practice translates to a pack that earns a second look on the commute without trying too hard. Functionally, it's the Nebula you know and love: panel-loading main compartment, AirScape backpanel for all-day comfort, and a 16" laptop sleeve. The shove-it pocket handles a hoody when the cold bites, and the soft-lined front pocket stops your phone screen from getting scratched up. A considered everyday pack that won't be around forever.
The Osprey story started in California in the 1970s, with one man, a sewing machine and a vision to make the world’s best outdoor packs. Today, it’s one of the most recognisable rucksack brands.
All of Osprey's packs share the same twin hallmarks of fit and comfort. In fact, Osprey was an early adopter of breathable mesh, ergonomic hip-belts and packs designed specifically to fit women. Breathable back panels are still a feature of all their packs, and all except their most lightweight bags come with adjustable back-lengths for a perfect fit.
And in a world where outdoor enthusiasts are increasingly conscious of our environmental impact, many Osprey packs are made from durable recycled fabrics, while all feature PFC-free water-repellent coatings.
