More capacity for long days and overnights

When a day hike turns into something more ambitious, the Sirrus 34 steps up with 34 litres of well-organised space. Wide dual-zip panel access gets you into the main compartment without the usual faff, and there's zippered bottom access to a separate collapsible compartment for sleeping bags or dirty kit. Removable webbing straps even let you lash extra gear outside. The AirSpeed backpanel keeps things breathable when you're working hard, the adjustable torso length and updated shoulder straps dial in the fit, and twin zippered hipbelt pockets keep snacks and phone handy. Our favourite feature is the front vertical-zip stash pocket, which swallows extra layers with ease. You also get Stow-on-the-Go trekking pole attachments and ice axe loops, making this a viable pack for trips abroad or winter adventures.

  • The Osprey story started in California in the 1970s, with one man, a sewing machine and a vision to make the world’s best outdoor packs. Today, it’s one of the most recognisable rucksack brands.

All of Osprey's packs share the same twin hallmarks of fit and comfort. In fact, Osprey was an early adopter of breathable mesh, ergonomic hip-belts and packs designed specifically to fit women. Breathable back panels are still a feature of all their packs, and all except their most lightweight bags come with adjustable back-lengths for a perfect fit.

And in a world where outdoor enthusiasts are increasingly conscious of our environmental impact, many Osprey packs are made from durable recycled fabrics, while all feature PFC-free water-repellent coatings.
